The Back-to-Back App bar button works similarly to the Copy contract function. Selecting the button will create a Sales contract from a Purchase contract or Purchase contract from a Sales contract. Much of the existing data from the Contract tab will be copied to the new contract. Other Risk tab pricing information or additional Finance tab costing information (such as additional insurance) is also not copied. You must enter date and delivery information as well as selecting a buyer or seller Counterparty.
To begin creating a new Sales or Purchase Contract, select the Back-to-back button from the App bar.
This will open up a New contract screen. Data from the original contract will be copied to the new contract. You will need to enter new dates, delivery information and select a Buyer or Seller. Cost information is not copied.
Saving the contract creates a new Sales or Purchase contract. The contract number from which the new contract was copied is also displayed.
