The Priced by Content pricing model allows the price of the contract to be based purely on the commodity element percentages. If a commodity has the Priced by content model enabled, you can select this pricing model from the Pricing type drop-down menu when creating a new contract.
When this pricing model is selected:
| • | There is a required price field for every constituent or commodity element, not for the main product. |
| • | The currency can be set on the first one commodity element. |
| • | All currencies are the same as on the first commodity element, but the units may differ. |
