Permissions

Permissions are generally organized by module.  Individual permissions are usually associated with one feature or feature area. Examples of this type include Futures or Forex.  Other permissions may be applied to multiple feature areas that share a common data layout, such as Counterparties and Relations.

Permissions can be combined into Roles to provide maximum flexibility in assigning users to work in specific Agiblocks areas. Roles are then assigned to users.  For example, an Administrator may set up a trader role and another finance role to separate Agiblocks permissions into these two functional areas.

Permissions may be used in multiple roles.  A trader and financial role may both have the View Position permission  which allows users to access and view the permission screen from the Position tile.

This reference guide section lists permissions alphabetically by the order seen in the Edit roles screen. There are also some special permission listings for functional areas that use permissions from multiple sections or use a subset of permissions from a related functional area.  An example of this is Reservations which uses a subset of permissions from Logistics.
