Some trading companies have an explicit contract approval process where only specific users are explicitly authorized to approve contracts. Agiblocks allows you to configure
• which contract statuses are approved statuses
• which contract statuses are ready for approval, meaning transition to an approved status is allowed
The permission called Change contracts to an approved status allows a customer to use this for an approval process or filter a list of all contracts that are awaiting approval.
Only users granted this permission will be allowed to see the Approved status in a Contract status drop down list. Selecting it will move a contract from an not-approved status to an approved status.
Users with the permission will also see a "To approve" tab on the Contracts screen.
This tab shows only contracts that are in a status marked as Ready for approval and not marked as Approved or have been archived or deleted.
