Using the Agiblocks Reporting Database

Top  Previous  Next

The Agiblocks Reporting Guide has information on all Reporting data available through the OData interface.  The information is still organized using different data models and entities within each model.  More links between models and data within models can be made depending on the capability of your reporting tool and the reports you wish to create.  See the Agiblocks Reporting Guide for more information.

Reporting 2.0 and Microsoft Power BI

If your company does not currently use a web enabled reporting tool but you want to use Agiblocks Reporting 2.0, you can speak to an Agiblocks consultant about using Microsoft Power BI.  Agiboo recommends Microsoft Power BI and can assist you in setting up a Microsoft Power BI account and setting up reports.

Using Microsoft Excel to Create Reports

Microsoft Excel has the ability to connect to the Agiblocks OData interface.  To do so, you will need the following:

1.The Agiblocks OData URL – you should get this from your Agiblocks system administrator.
2.Have the In Access OData EndPoint permission in Agiblocks.
3.Your Agiblocks user name and password.

In Excel, select the OData option from under the Data->From Other Sources menu.  In the dialog that appears, enter the URL to the OData interface and your Agiblocks user name and password.

You then choose the data model(s) you wish to work with.
