Both commodity and exchange brokers can be added. “Exchange broker” should be used for uploading broker statements. A “Commodity broker” relations type is also avaialble.
Note: If a Relations record is created as a Commodity broker, the Broker field dropdown list will appear in a purchase or sale contract. The list will alphabetically display any of the relations entered with a Commodity broker type.
The default will be blank. Commodity broker is not a required field. A document merge field called CommodityBrokerName is available to print the broker name in a contract document.
