Mandatory fields on some screens are marked with an asterisk (*).
Mandatory fields usually have a default value whenever possible and practical. If no default value is set, or the field is not filled in, a red line appears around the field to indicate that the field is mandatory. A helper text may also be displayed next to the field or at the top of the screen.
