A lot can be split, an amount be listed as lost or found or merged. This can be done directly in the lot form's status section without entering edit mode if you have lot edit rights.
There are four buttons that will perform different transactions:
| 1. | Split: this button creates a new lot and moves the specified quantity to that new lot using a transaction. A new document number must also be entered in field next to the current document number. This document number will be used as the new lot number. |
| 2. | Lost: this button will decrease the quantity with the specified amount. |
| 3. | Found: this will increase the quantity with the specified amount. |
| 4. | Merge: allows you to merge back parts that were split off from the same logistics delivery line, either using a weight note form or using the split button on an inventory lot. |
