Finalizing a Payment Agreement

To finalize a payment agreement, select the button Finalize in the Payment agreement form. When saving is done, a cost item is produced for the total interest amount.

 

Before selecting the Finalize button you can tick a box to invoice the interest cost item.

 

When the invoice still has status draft, you can tick a box to have the interest cost item automatically allocated to the same invoice
When the invoice is already complete, you can tick a box to have the interest cost item automatically allocated to a newly created invoice

 

In case the payment agreement applies to an invoice with multiple lines for multiple deliveries, then each delivery gets its own interest cost item with a proportional amount.

 

In case a mistake was made, the payment agreement can be changed and finalized again. Then the cost item(s) are updated to the new interest amount and, in case they are allocated to an invoice that is still draft, the invoice allocation is updated as well.
