Execution Event

Top  Previous  Next

Execution identifies the moment the goods are executed or delivered to the customer. This also impacts the Mark to Market information as at this point there is no longer a risk involved.

When this event is completed in a delivery end point, the transaction is recorded, and updates are made to the contract, the financial system and to Mark to Market (e.g. a purchase asset becomes realized and is replaced by an inventory asset, or an inventory asset disappears and a sales asset becomes realized). One logistics event is required for use in the Execution section for each delivery line. By default, Agiblocks uses an event called "Originals received" for incoming purchase contracts and "Originals sent" for outgoing sales contracts.
