The general process for creating a new reservation is as follows:
| • | Select an item to reserve in either one of the columns. |
| • | An item selected will be highlighted in light blue. |
| • | Select an available contract or location from the opposite column. |
| ▪ | Items unavailable for selection will be grayed out. |
| • | Enter an amount in the Reservation entry field in between the two columns or select the default amount. |
There are seven ways to allocate Reservations:
| • | Purchase to Sales |
| • | Purchase to Storage |
| • | Purchase to Destination |
| • | Warehouse to Sales |
| • | Warehouse to Warehouse |
| • | Floating to Sales |
| • | Floating to Storage |
