A treasury or financial manager can record the actual agreement with the bank. The Forex type field can be used to differentiate between trade-related Forex Contracts and other types.
To add a new Forex contract, select the New button from the App bar.
A New Forex contract screen opens.
Note: On this screen the same logic is applied as when using currency pairs.
| • | Fill in the mandatory fields and select Save. |
| • | A new Forex contract is created and will appear at the top of the Forex contracts list on the Forex contracts screen. |
Notes:
| • | A currency pair must exist in Master data for Agiblocks to do an automatic calculation of values. If for example you are creating a Forex record for a GBP to CHF contract, that currency pair must exist in Master data. |
If the pair does not exist, then Agiblocks cannot do an automatic value calculation and the amount fields must be filled in manually.
