The first part of the Heartbeat screen continuously monitors the status of the Agiblocks messaging service:
| • | It checks how many messages are pending in queues and how old they are. |
| • | It confirms that the Agiblocks messaging service is live |
A heart image shows a “beat” each every second, when it updates the status details.
The list shows for each Agiblocks service the number of pending messages and the age of the oldest message.
In the unlikely event that the Agiblocks messaging service would be down, the heart image would change to a grey broken heart. It shows every second an attempt to beat which checks if the service is live again. If the service is down, Heartbeat still monitors the pending messages; it does not depend on the messaging service being live.
