A portion number is a unique identification of any quantity portion of goods, either from contracts or from inventory. The number is constructed from the contract delivery line number from which the portion of goods were taken by appending numbers after a "/".
Full portion numbers were already available on the Mark to Market and P&L Insight screen in the Portion column and in the header of a lot record. Full portion numbers can now be seen on a Delivery record on the Deliveries screen and in the header of each Delivery line in a Delivery.
