Links between Delivery and Transport

The Delivery and Transport tiles show different information, but they are linked through the Delivery Form.

The standard process describes a transport linked to a delivery which has one or more delivery lines. Different delivery lines from different contracts can be shipped on the same transport, if certain conditions are met:

•	Same origin.

•	Same destination, or compatible routing.

•	Available capacity.

The delivery lines are listed separately on the Deliveries screen. One or more delivery lines may be linked to the same Delivery Form. In most cases, this is a one-to-one match with a transport, like a ship. A delivery without a transport can also be created.

Select the Delivery tile to view the Delivery Overview screen. From here, Delivery Lines can be viewed and inline editing is available. Select a delivery line to view the Delivery Form for further logistic functionality.

•	Enter transport details directly into the Delivery Form. Enter more capacity than is necessary for this delivery line to allow the remaining transport capacity to appear under the New Delivery button.

•	The New button can be used to link a delivery to an existing transport (add more delivery lines to a delivery form) as well as create a delivery without transport. This new delivery will be listed as a delivery line under the Delivery Overview.

Select the Transport tile to view a list of available Transports. From here, the New button can be used to create a new Transport. Select a Transport to view the Delivery Form.
